Join me on my journey.

Hello June…

For anyone who knows my personal journey, this year so far has been a roller coaster ride. So many wonderful things happening, but also a few major upheavals and changes. The weight of some of this has been heavy on my mind and my heart for some time now, and it’s been hard for me to shake it off.

Somehow Vegas doesn’t seem the same without these two.  My aunt and uncle helped me realize how much Vegas had to offer besides the strip and other tourist traps this town is full of.  They were my only family out here, the Western edition of the Luck clan.  Without going into detail, after my aunt’s passing and my uncle’s moving, things have felt very different around here.

I would love to say personal stress and loss don’t affect my work, but that is not the case. I know I have had this sense of defeat, even when things are going well. Going well is an understatement actually, I am so lucky to have doors opening up for me, and I’ve met some amazing individuals, each who impact my work. Not to mention my loving and supportive husband who is always there when I’m ready to try something crazy.

I have spent the last two weeks rebooting myself; getting back to my healthy eating habits, getting back to my mat with a daily yoga practice (and a weekly hot yoga class which is slightly crazy), and shedding some of the what-ifs for my business. I can’t tell you how great it feels to find myself in all this, even without caffeine (almost two weeks now, can you believe it?), I have more energy, more drive and I’m excited about work again.

Crystal Hairsticks

So excited that I wish I could share all my upcoming projects… but I won’t just yet. Don’t want to take the fun out of the surprises I am working on. But, if you want to be the first to know, make sure you sign up for my email newsletter. I won’t give much away, but I will hint that you will see a magazine editorial, an exciting new design that rivals my hair sticks (pictured above) in terms of coolness, and an announcement of a new stockist, just to name a few.

So, its time for me to let go of the heaviness that has been settling on my shoulders, embrace the exciting projects up ahead, and enjoy what this month will bring.

Inhale the future… Exhale the past.

Are you with me?
